 Why this Flag

Celebrate Diversity. Stand Against Inequality.

It’s always the right time to stand against injustice and fight for equality. The Civil Rights US Flag is a visual representation of our diversity and how our differences should not be hidden. Our differences aren’t a burden—they are our strength! We want to show that goodness and justice can overcome hate and discrimination.

This flag and all our products are meant to show unconditional acceptance for others, no matter our differences. All of us have experienced or witnessed some kind of hate. It happens at work, social gatherings, political rallies, out in public, and on social media. No one should stand for this kind of hatred. It’s time to band together and fight for each other.

United Despite Our Differences

This flag is all about showcasing the beauty of people from all backgrounds, of all races, of all genders and sexualities, who hold all kinds of religious beliefs. We are all different, but we are united in that we are all people living in America.

No matter who you are, you deserve to be treated with kindness and respect and to have equal treatment under the law. Your rights matter! Use this flag to proudly show your support of all people and your willingness to stand up for others!

Check out all our products to see the many ways you can be an advocate for equality. For every purchase you make, we donate $1 to a nonprofit organization fighting to stop injustice and discrimination in its tracks.

Meaning of the Civil Rights US Flag

The Colors and their Symbolism

The Civil Right US-Flag was designed to create awareness for Americans to display as a symbol of their commitment to the concepts of freedom, equality, and justice for all. While the days of slavery are long behind us, our nation is clearly not

free from discrimination and oppression on many levels, and the complexities of this reality were dramatically brought to light by the video of George Floyd’s death.

The Civil Rights US-Flag design is not meant to add to the divisive atmosphere we are currently experiencing.

Instead, its purpose is to help keep a laser focus on the problem; and it is giving people a chance to show their solidarity, and encourage the kind of productive dialogue that will move us forward toward meaningful
solutions rather than splitting us further apart.
